About the position

The Premium Seating Gameday Ambassador at the University of Georgia plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests in premium seating areas during UGA Athletics game days. This position is responsible for assisting the Premium Seating Directors in the operational management of premium seating operations, which includes a variety of tasks aimed at providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the exclusivity of premium areas. The Ambassador will engage with guests, staff, and vendors, ensuring that all interactions reflect a service-first and solution-oriented mindset. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, as communication will occur both in-person and via radio with various constituent groups on game days. In addition to customer service responsibilities, the Ambassador will perform pre-game, in-game, and post-game duties as assigned by the Director of Premium Seating. This includes assisting in the preparations for game week operations, ensuring that all aspects of the premium seating experience are executed flawlessly. The role may also involve monitoring entry points to premium areas, reviewing tickets, and implementing policies and procedures to maintain the integrity and exclusivity of these areas. The position is dynamic and may require flexibility to adapt to the fast-paced environment of game days, with a focus on delivering a high-quality experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Premium Seating Directors with operational management of premium seating operation during UGA Athletics game days.
  • Provide high levels of customer service to all Premium Seating guests while maintaining a service first and solution-minded attitude.
  • Present exceptional interpersonal skills, via in-person or radio, by communicating with multiple constituent groups on game days including staff, donors, vendors, etc.
  • Maintain exclusivity of premium areas by monitoring entry points, reviewing tickets, and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Perform all pre-game, in-game, and post-game duties specific to your positions as assigned by the Director of Premium Seating.
  • Assist in game week preparations of the Premium Seating operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide high levels of customer service.
  • Experience in event management or hospitality is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in a sports or entertainment environment.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and event operations.
