About the position

The Tequila Brand Ambassador position at Hidden Gem Tequila is essential for developing a competitive market strategy for premium tequila brands. The role focuses on building relationships with key accounts, enhancing brand awareness, and supporting distributors to achieve sales objectives. The ambassador will connect consumers with authentic, family-owned tequila brands from Jalisco, Mexico, while promoting the brand's image and increasing market presence.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships at key on and off-premise accounts
• Provide in-depth knowledge of the brands with on and off-premise accounts
• Create top-of-mind awareness with consumers and accounts
• Enhance relationship with distributor and educate the sales team
• Merchandise accounts with POS
• Secure featured drinks (sip, cocktail, etc.) on account menus
• Seek out local PR opportunities
• Submit weekly and monthly performance reports
• Provide market trends

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years experience working in the Liquor Retail Space; Working for Beverage Supplier/Distributor (Non-Alc/Soft Drink/Food/Beer/Alc/Wine), or bartending
• Experience in managing customer relationships to meet aligned current business goals
• General understanding of the tequila industry
• Experience in Brand Ambassadorial Role/Marketing Execution Role will be a plus
• Develop and execute marketing/sales promotional campaigns
• Principles and processes for providing exceptional customer service within the industry
• Entrepreneurial drive with a proven record of sales success
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Time management skills: ability to execute a planned workweek
• Proactive and Solution Oriented Mindset
• Ability to influence stakeholders to support business goals
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record and vehicle
• Must be at least 21 years of age
