Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of food preparation duties other than cooking, such as preparing cold foods and shellfish, slicing meat, and brewing coffee or tea.
- Plan production sheets for meals.
- Review recipes to ensure all ingredients are available for the production of menu items.
- Check in orders that may be delivered, as needed.
- Prepare menu items in a timely manner as scheduled.
- Keep workstations in a clean and sanitary condition.
- Ensure cleaning and sanitizing solutions are available at the workstation.
- Work with the dishwasher as directed.
- Fill room service orders as needed.
- Organize the serving line for dish-up.
- Expedite plating and service as directed.
- Prepare associates' meals as directed.
- Clean all workstations and store leftovers and unused food products properly by covering and dating items.
- Secure and lock walk-in coolers and ice cream freezers, ensuring all equipment is turned off.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience working in a kitchen.
- Able to work weekends and holidays.
- Able to follow recipes and menus.
- Excellent work ethic.
- Interested in learning and growing your skill set.
- Team player.
