About the position

As a Prep Cook, you’ll be an essential part of our kitchen team, helping to bring our culinary creations to life. Your role involves preparing ingredients, setting up cooking stations, and ensuring a smooth operation during meal services. You'll work closely with our chefs to create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items, including chopping, measuring, and mixing ingredients according to recipes.
  • Assist with setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, following health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food service.
  • Assist in the preparation of special menu items, including guest requests and dietary accommodations.
  • Monitor inventory and communicate shortages or needs to the kitchen manager.
  • Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Requirements

  • Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is preferred.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for cooking.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
