About the position

The position involves assisting with the scheduling and supervision of Team Members in the Prepared Foods department, ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent service to both customers and Team Members. The role requires adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and focuses on maintaining high standards of retail execution while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and delegate tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members.
• Train Team Members to build a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked, and properly rotated shelves and cases.
• Ensure all necessary breaks are given and communicate team concerns.
• Set and achieve high standards of retail execution.
• Foster a positive work environment and maintain awareness of customer needs.
• Select, train, develop, and counsel Team Members to sustain a high-performance team.
• Provide timely performance evaluations and consistently communicate WFM vision and goals.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Prepared Foods team procedures and policies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
• Product knowledge and proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies and procedures.
• Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance.
