About The Position
At Sam's Club, our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates play a vital role in ensuring that our members have access to fresh, high-quality food items every day. This position involves preparing delicious meals by following specific recipes and ensuring that our rotisserie chicken is always warm and ready for our members. You will be responsible for wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise properly, which is essential for maintaining the freshness of the items available for our members to take home to their families. In this fast-paced environment, you will often juggle multiple tasks while assisting members with their bakery orders, making your friendly demeanor crucial for enhancing the shopping experience. Your contributions will not only involve food preparation but also helping families create memorable meals together. As a team member, you will maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key, as you will help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Effective communication with your team members and flexibility to adapt to the business's needs will be essential. You will also be expected to prepare food according to item specifications, plan for future productions, and adhere to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines. Operating and maintaining equipment while ensuring compliance with cold chain standards and inventory management will be part of your daily responsibilities. In addition to food preparation, you will drive the performance of your area by managing high expectations, stocking and rotating merchandise, and ensuring quality control standards are met. Your role as a talent ambassador will involve advocating for the department and club by valuing the member's experience and modeling high-quality service and products. You will be expected to comply with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity, completing work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers, and adapting to feedback and changes in the work environment.
