About The Position
At Sam's Club, our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates play a vital role in ensuring that our members have access to fresh, high-quality food items every day. This position involves preparing delicious meals by following specific recipes and maintaining our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. You will be responsible for wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise properly to guarantee that our members can take home the freshest items for their families. In this fast-paced environment, you will often juggle multiple tasks while assisting members with their bakery orders, making your friendly demeanor essential for creating a positive shopping experience. Your contributions will not only involve food preparation but also enhancing the overall experience for families looking to enjoy a great meal together. As a team member, you will maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key, as you will help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Effective communication with your team members and flexibility to adapt to the business's needs will be crucial. You will also be expected to prepare food according to item specifications, plan for future productions, and adhere to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines. Operating and maintaining equipment while ensuring compliance with cold chain standards will be part of your daily responsibilities. In addition to food preparation, you will drive the performance of the area by managing high expectations, stocking and rotating merchandise, and ensuring quality control. Your role as a talent ambassador will involve advocating for the department and club, valuing the member's experience, and modeling high-quality service and products. You will be expected to comply with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity, completing work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers.
