About the position

The Presales Director is responsible for engaging with clients to prepare and deliver compelling pitches and presentations, responding to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, and collaborating with partners and internal teams to develop new solutions. This role requires strategic planning in partnership with sales teams to refine go-to-market strategies and convert leads into successful opportunities. The position demands deep technical expertise in cloud services and infrastructure, particularly in Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS, along with experience in large-scale cloud and datacenter transformations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver client pitches and presentations.
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs with compelling proposals.
  • Collaborate with partners and internal teams on new solutions.
  • Provide technical input and identify new opportunities for existing clients.
  • Partner with Sales to refine go-to-market strategy and offerings.
  • Assist sales teams in converting leads and opportunities into wins.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from a leading institute.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology consulting delivery.
  • 5+ years of experience on public cloud platforms and related infrastructure technologies.
  • 10+ years of experience in Data Center transformation/operations.
  • Experience with IT service providers supporting external clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong understanding of virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware).
  • Familiarity with network technologies (routing, DNS, load balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, HTTP).
  • Security knowledge (firewalls, encryption, key management, identity & access).
  • Deep expertise and hands-on experience with IaaS/PaaS/Serverless services on a leading public cloud platform.
