About the position

This presales role within the Siemens Digital Industries Software (DISW) division focuses on positioning DISW simulation solutions to address technical and business challenges faced by customers. The role involves gathering customer requirements, executing demonstrations, and showcasing the business value of simulation solutions through integrated workflows. The position emphasizes customer engagement and the opportunity to influence product development by representing customer feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical presales support for the DISW simulation portfolio, targeting various customers in industries such as Automotive, Aerospace, and Industrial Machinery.
• Develop proof of concepts, demonstrations, and execute benchmarks of the DISW simulation portfolio.
• Assist in closing sales by demonstrating the value and benefits of the DISW simulation portfolio to drive positive customer outcomes.
• Contribute to the development of the DISW simulation portfolio by evaluating current functionality, identifying gaps, and relaying customer requirements to the product development team.
• Train and mentor customer technical leads and subject matter experts in the application of the DISW products.
• Participate in educational opportunities and maintain personal networks.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years current experience in simulation software presales or strong industry experience related to engineering simulation software.
• Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Flexible and willing to learn new skills.
• Collaborative mindset to take personal ownership of team objectives.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in or with the Automotive or Aerospace markets.
• Experience with Multiphysics simulation, multidisciplinary simulation, or co-simulation.
• Experience with Simcenter 3D, Simcenter E-Machine Design, or Simcenter Motorsolve.
• Experience using 3D CAD software, mesh generation software, or CAE software.
