About the position

The Preschool Art Teacher at Crème de la Crème is responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. This role emphasizes the importance of modeling positive behavior, implementing an innovative curriculum, and fostering a love of learning through art. The teacher will also communicate regularly with parents and collaborate with center staff to support the overall success of the center.

Responsibilities

• Model positive behavior for children and team members.
• Manage the overall classroom environment, ensuring it is safe, nurturing, and engaging.
• Serve as a role model and inspire a love of learning using a growth mindset.
• Implement the innovative curriculum tailored to the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their children's accomplishments.
• Support the center's success by partnering with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers to create a dynamic learning environment.

Requirements

• Valid Teaching Certification license (required).
• High school diploma or GED (required).
• 1 year of teaching experience (preferred).
