About The Position
Early Care and Education cares for infants through Pre-K and offers a robust before and after-school program for school-aged students. Our goal is to operate pre-schools and before and after-school programs that exceed state and national standards and move early education into a new era. We strive to create a compassionate school family culture that provides a safe learning environment for the children of Early Care & Education. The Preschool Cook is responsible for guaranteeing the children are served nutritious, tasty and appealing meals and snacks. They will prepare and serve food and maintain the kitchen and dining area in a sanitary condition. The Preschool Cook must plan and create nutritious menu options that the children will enjoy and comply with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Additional responsibilities are planning, preparation, serving, and clean-up of all meals and snacks.
