About the position

The Crème de la Crème in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our dynamic preschool program. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong background in teaching and a love for the Spanish language. As a Spanish Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and immersive learning environment for young learners, helping them to develop their language skills through interactive activities and lessons. You will work closely with a team of educators to implement a curriculum that fosters creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning in our students. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children by introducing them to the Spanish language and culture. You will be expected to plan and deliver lessons that are age-appropriate and aligned with our educational standards. Additionally, you will assess student progress and adapt your teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of your students. Responsibilities

  • Create and implement engaging Spanish language lessons for preschool-aged children.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages language development.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in language acquisition and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other educators to integrate Spanish language learning into the overall curriculum.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a teaching capacity.
  • Fluency in Spanish and the ability to teach the language effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Child Development Associate Certification (CDA) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in early childhood education is a plus.
