About the position
The Goddard School® is seeking passionate and dedicated Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Teachers to join our team. This role involves working collaboratively with established educators to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Teachers will utilize Goddard and NAEYC guidelines to develop a curriculum that fosters social, physical, language, and cognitive development, ensuring that each child reaches their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative curriculum planning and activities that cater to the whole child.
- Work collaboratively as part of a teaching team to support children's learning and development.
- Utilize Goddard and NAEYC guidelines to create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment.
- Inspire children to be lifelong learners through effective teaching practices.
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
Requirements
- EEC Certification preferred (or assistance will be provided to obtain it).
- A two or four-year degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or current enrollment in education courses towards a degree, or CDA.
- Strong knowledge of Child Development.
- Dependability and strong communication skills.
- A nurturing and loving teaching style.
- Ability to work as a team player in a co-teaching environment.
