About the position

As a Preschool Office Administrator at Discovery Isle Preschool, you will play a vital role in the coordination of the office and support classroom activities as needed. The preschool is part of Spring Education Group's Early Childhood Education Division, which encompasses nearly 150 schools across the nation, offering services from infant care through Pre-K/K programs, as well as summer camp and after-school programs. The curriculum at Discovery Isle is literacy-based and structured, yet purposefully flexible, allowing for a dynamic learning environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining office operations, assisting in classroom activities, and fostering relationships with staff, families, and the community. The ideal candidate will have experience as a teacher, with a minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units, as well as administrative ECE units and infant toddler units. The position requires compliance with all company and state-specific standards, including maintaining validation of required credentials. You will be expected to perform essential duties satisfactorily, which may include walking, standing, sitting, and engaging in various physical activities to support the preschool environment. This full-time position operates year-round, Monday through Friday, and offers a competitive pay rate of $21 to $23 per hour, depending on experience. Nice-to-haves
