About the position
A Step Ahead Soccer is seeking a dynamic and experienced Preschool Soccer Coach to lead interactive, adventure-based soccer enrichment programs for preschool-aged children. This part-time role focuses on using storytelling and physical activities to enhance children's learning and physical fitness, preparing them for kindergarten while promoting an active lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Lead interactive soccer-based enrichment classes for preschool children aged 2 to 5.
- Utilize storytelling to engage children and enhance their learning experience.
- Manage groups of young children effectively during activities.
- Implement the provided curriculum to deliver lessons that incorporate soccer skills and school readiness.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and social development through play-based learning.
Requirements
- Experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Background in sports coaching or physical education.
- Ability to manage groups of young children effectively.
- Must have a cell phone and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Nice-to-haves
- Soccer experience is a bonus but not required.
