About the position
A Step Ahead Soccer is seeking a dynamic and experienced Preschool Soccer Coach to join their part-time enrichment program. This role focuses on delivering an interactive, adventure-based soccer curriculum tailored for preschool-aged children, emphasizing play-based learning and physical activity. Coaches will lead engaging sessions that enhance children's skills while preparing them for kindergarten.
Responsibilities
- Lead interactive soccer sessions for preschool-aged children (ages 2 to 5).
- Implement the provided curriculum and manage groups of young children effectively.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and social development through play-based learning.
- Utilize storytelling to enhance children's attention spans and imagination.
- Promote physical activity and school readiness skills during each lesson.
Requirements
- Experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Background in sports coaching or physical education.
- Ability to manage groups of young children effectively.
- Must have a cell phone and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Nice-to-haves
- Soccer experience is a bonus but not required.
