About the position

The Preschool Teacher Assistant will support the lead teacher in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in a preschool setting. This role involves assisting with daily activities, promoting learning through play, and ensuring the well-being of the children in care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime and learning activities.
• Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress.
• Support the emotional and social development of children.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children in a preschool or educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves
