Responsibilities
- Assist the teaching team in maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment.
- Provide emotional and physical care for students aged 1-3.
- Support the delivery of lesson plan-based programs using Little Ivy approaches.
- Engage with students to foster a positive learning experience.
- Help with daily activities, including lifting children and changing diapers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a classroom or childcare setting.
- Associate's degree or Child Development Associate Certification preferred.
- Ability to work with groups of young children ages 1-3.
- Positive and patient approach to teaching young preschoolers.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience as a babysitter, nanny, or summer camp counselor.
- Previous classroom experience.
