About the position

Ivybrook Academy is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher for the Two Year Old classroom at our Estero, FL campus. Responsibilities

• Implement daily lessons for the children following an innovative approach to education.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers via parent-teacher conferences.
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and school functions.
• Maintain portfolio assessments for all children in the classroom.
• Commit to professional development and continuing education.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the classroom.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education or Special Education, or a degree within the first year of employment.
• Previous experience at a public, private, or licensed school preferred.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Proficiency in classroom management techniques.
• CPR Certification (Preferred).

Nice-to-haves

• Classroom experience (2 years preferred).
