About the position

Gan Mah Tov Preschool is seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Teacher who is passionate about fostering children's growth and Jewish learning. The role involves creating a nurturing and joyful environment for children to explore and thrive, while integrating Jewish culture and values into the curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Inspire a love of Jewish learning and Israel, incorporating Jewish values, holidays, and Hebrew language into the curriculum.
• Create a nurturing, safe, and respectful classroom environment.
• Observe and assess each child's progress, and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's achievements and any concerns.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and the program director to ensure the success of the Gan Mah Tov program.

Requirements

• Experience as a preschool teacher; experience in a Jewish educational setting is preferred but not required.
• 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units required.
• Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of Jewish values, holidays, and traditions is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
