About the position
The Preschool Teacher at Grace Harbor Church & School is responsible for providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. This role involves planning and implementing educational activities that promote child development and learning, while fostering a love for learning in a Christian setting.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities for preschool children.
- Create a nurturing and safe classroom environment.
- Engage children in various activities including chapel, dance, soccer, and STEAM lab.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's progress and needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months experience in a childcare facility.
- Minimum 12 ECE units, with infant/toddler units preferred.
- Child Development Associate Certification (preferred).
- Ability to relocate to Tustin, CA before starting work.
Nice-to-haves
- 1 year of teaching experience (preferred).
- 1 year of childcare experience (preferred).
