About the position

The President of The Community's Foundation (TCF) is a key leadership role responsible for advancing the organization's mission through strategic leadership, operational oversight, and community engagement. This position requires a visionary leader who can enhance TCF's reputation and impact in Delaware County, PA, while managing various aspects of the organization including marketing, human resources, fundraising, and program oversight.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Board of Directors to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with TCF's mission.
• Raise the visibility of TCF throughout the county through a comprehensive marketing plan.
• Recruit, nurture, and retain highly qualified staff while fostering an organizational culture of accountability.
• Cultivate relationships with diverse donors and community leaders to enhance philanthropic support.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with organizational policies and fiscal controls.
• Monitor community needs and maintain strong relationships with non-profit organizations and partners.
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding a diverse Board of Directors and provide them with comprehensive information for decision-making.

Requirements

• Exceptional organizational leadership skills with experience in developing and implementing strategic plans.
• Impeccable credentials in integrity and trustworthiness.
• Exceptional interpersonal and public relations skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Online Forms Software, Grants Management Software, and Donor Software.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in a similar role.
• A long-term track record of overseeing fundraising strategies, including securing six-figure gifts.
