About The Position
ANDRITZ is a global leader in providing innovative solutions to our customers, and we pride ourselves on our passion for engineering technologies that shape the future. This entry-level position, reporting to the Director of Pressing Technology, focuses on the design and application of machine clothing products. The primary objective is to support various departments including Sales, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Research, and Marketing in relation to machine clothing products. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of Andritz products and paper machine operations to effectively specify designs and accessories as customer orders are placed. In this position, you will be responsible for making recommendations and proposals ranging from single positions to complete corporate RFQs. You will collaborate closely with field personnel for product presentations, application meetings, and evaluations of paper machines. Additionally, you will work with Research and Product Engineering teams to develop new products based on performance evaluations and market analysis. Marketing collaboration will also be essential for developing trade names, campaigns, and literature for both new and existing products. You will be expected to provide monthly reports detailing product performance activities to your supervisor and maintain productive relationships with customers to stay informed about their challenges. Following trial installations of Andritz and competitive products, you will report results to your supervisor and relevant Andritz groups. Furthermore, you will create and maintain effective PowerPoint presentations for distribution to the Sales team and act as an ambassador for Andritz with upper management at paper mills. Other duties and projects may be assigned by management as needed.
