About the position
The Press Operator will be responsible for operating various mechanical, hydraulic, and manual punch press machines in the Stamping department. This role involves performing tool changes, offsets, program edits, and troubleshooting as needed, while also inspecting parts for quality using precision measuring tools.
Responsibilities
- Operate 10 to 100 ton punch press machines in the Stamping department.
- Perform tool changes and offsets on the machines.
- Edit programs and troubleshoot machine issues as necessary.
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Requirements
- Experience operating punch press machines.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient in inspection techniques and using measuring tools.
