About the position
The Press Trainee - Screening position at Universal Products, Inc. involves assisting in the setup and operation of screen presses to ensure high-quality printed goods. The role focuses on efficiency, teamwork, and maintaining production standards while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Run the presses efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate and/or work with Rackers, Operators, Ink Mixers, Screen Makers, Department Lead, and Supervisors.
- Check all finished work for accuracy.
- Ensure Rackers are working cooperatively to maintain production goals.
- Maintain a safe and clean work space.
- Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.
Requirements
- Ability to operate screen presses and related equipment.
- Basic understanding of printing processes and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
