About the position

Shaker Lane is dedicated to building a safe, caring, and ready-to-learn community. This role requires establishing clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and effectively communicating those objectives to students. You will plan well-structured lessons that incorporate varied learning experiences to meet the diverse needs of students. Additionally, you will guide and counsel students who may be facing adjustment and/or academic problems, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive. In this position, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills are essential, as you will need to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, families, and staff.
