About the position

The Director, Prestige Sales is a leadership role focused on driving the development and execution of strategic initiatives across various markets. This position ensures alignment with national prestige brands and supports the commercial team in identifying opportunities for scalable local activations and themed events. The role involves building strong partnerships with Brand & Customer Marketing teams to equip the commercial teams with necessary tools and assets for success in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Champion business priorities alongside CBU field sales directors to drive ROS and excellence in execution.
  • Balance regional and national priorities while ensuring operational management with Regional Directors and State Managers.
  • Lead the commercialization of regional and local activities and events that enhance commercial success for Prestige brands.
  • Strategically forecast event planning in collaboration with prestige brand teams and customers based on business priorities.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for local sponsorships, customer events, and activations not covered by the brand team.
  • Develop and implement strategies for event execution, ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
  • Manage assigned budget and territory with other Prestige Directors to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Oversee creative and activation agencies to deliver high-quality ideas and events.
  • Align with Prestige brand teams on the creation of tools and adhere to brand governance while leading creative development.
  • Collaborate with Customer Marketing and CP&A for the creation of promotional materials and support items.
  • Provide comprehensive recap and reporting on programming delivery and results to the broader business.
  • Enhance prestige brand presence by deepening customer relationships and fostering engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in leadership, sales, brand marketing, and/or trade marketing, preferably in the Spirits or Beverage industry.
  • Experience in event planning and execution is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with cross-functional experience.
  • Ability to operate seamlessly within a matrix organization.
  • Strategic business approach with project oversight across multiple states.
  • Strong creative skills and problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Spirits and Beverage industry.
  • Familiarity with brand governance and creative development processes.
