Preventative Maintenance Specialist

About the position

The position involves providing on-site maintenance services for 5-axis Grob equipment, requiring strong mechanical aptitude and interpersonal communication skills. The role includes troubleshooting machine errors, documenting findings, and communicating with the customer support team. Travel is required for preventative maintenance visits to customers, both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site maintenance services to our customers 5-axis Grob equipment
• Document your findings and corrective actions to present to the customer
• Communicate what you are finding in real time with the Grob customer support team
• Troubleshoot machine errors
• Read and follow mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical prints/drawing
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (such as calipers, levels, indicators, micrometers, etc.)

Requirements

• High School Diploma minimum
• Understanding of drawings, schematics and troubleshooting
• NC programming experience is a plus
• Previous CNC machining or machine building experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong math skills and understanding of mechanics
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• Willing to work overtime as needed
• Willing to travel domestic and international
