About the position

The Prevention - Data and Research Analyst position at Northwest Family Services involves working closely with an Epidemiologist and program supervisor to analyze data from local school districts. The primary goal is to reduce substance misuse through data-driven insights and community engagement. This part-time role requires a focus on data collection, analysis, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with confidentiality and cultural responsiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, assess, and analyze drug and alcohol usage data from the community and school districts using established outcome sources and measurements.
  • Collaborate with agency managers and the epidemiologist to engage with the community to raise awareness, action, and funding.
  • Ensure data and documentation are accurate.
  • Complete and submit reports as needed.
  • Maintain regular attendance and fulfill other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Experience in data analysis preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in public health or epidemiology preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in a school setting or school systems preferred but not required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Three years of data analysis experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in public health or epidemiology is preferred but not required.
