About the position

The Prevention Services Manager at Colorado Health Network Inc. is responsible for leading and managing community engagement and outreach initiatives focused on harm reduction, substance use, and HIV prevention. This role involves training and facilitating large groups, analyzing data to improve performance, and working closely with diverse populations, including marginalized communities. The manager will oversee mobile service operations and ensure the delivery of essential health services to priority populations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage community engagement and outreach initiatives.
• Train, lead, and facilitate large groups.
• Analyze data and reports to make recommendations for quality improvement.
• Work with community-based organizations, government entities, and law enforcement.
• Oversee mobile service operations to deliver health services to priority populations.
• Address issues related to HIV, STIs, HCV, and substance use.
• Foster relationships with constituents and donors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, counseling, or related field preferred.
• Three years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in community engagement and outreach development.
• Ability to discuss sex and sexuality comfortably.
• Working knowledge of the harm reduction model.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including marginalized communities.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Experience in grant writing and fundraising.
• Knowledge of budget management.
