About the position

The Closing Supervisor at Price Rite is responsible for overseeing all store operations and personnel during their shift. This role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The supervisor will manage cash handling, inventory, and assist with deliveries, all while fostering a cohesive team environment that aligns with the company's mission and values.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all store operations and personnel on shift.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to all customers.
  • Ensure store presentation remains clean, stocked, and professional at all times.
  • Open and/or close the store, including cash handling and office paperwork.
  • Manage inventory, damages, signs, and tags as part of CGO functions.
  • Open back door of store for deliveries as needed.
  • Comply with all company, federal, and state policies and regulations.
  • Maintain great store conditions per company standards, including sanitation and safety compliance.
  • Ensure the quality and freshness of products for sale and accuracy of product signage.
  • Perform cash office functions including reconciliations and deposit drops.
  • Complete required logging and checklists for alarms and temperatures.
  • Maintain strong communication with the Store Manager regarding store conditions and issues.

Requirements

  • One plus years of related management experience.
  • Associate Degree preferred or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages.
  • Active Food Safety Certification.
  • Ability to regularly stand, walk, and perform physical tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in retail management or supervisory roles.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
