About the position
The Closing Supervisor at Price Rite is responsible for overseeing all store operations and personnel during their shift. This role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The supervisor will manage cash handling, inventory, and assist with deliveries, all while fostering a cohesive team environment that aligns with the company's mission and values.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all store operations and personnel on shift.
- Deliver high-quality customer service to all customers.
- Ensure store presentation remains clean, stocked, and professional at all times.
- Open and/or close the store, including cash handling and office paperwork.
- Manage inventory, damages, signs, and tags as part of CGO functions.
- Open back door of store for deliveries as needed.
- Comply with all company, federal, and state policies and regulations.
- Maintain great store conditions per company standards, including sanitation and safety compliance.
- Ensure the quality and freshness of products for sale and accuracy of product signage.
- Perform cash office functions including reconciliations and deposit drops.
- Complete required logging and checklists for alarms and temperatures.
- Maintain strong communication with the Store Manager regarding store conditions and issues.
Requirements
- One plus years of related management experience.
- Associate Degree preferred or equivalent education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages.
- Active Food Safety Certification.
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, and perform physical tasks.

- Experience in retail management or supervisory roles.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
