About the position
The Front End Lead Clerk at PriceRite is responsible for assisting the Front End Manager in overseeing all aspects of front end operations, including cash management, customer service, and staff training. This part-time role requires flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends, and involves maintaining a clean and organized work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Front End Manager in all aspects of Front End Operations.
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
- Greet all customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
- Adhere to security policies and procedures, including cash management and reporting suspicious activity.
- Daily reconciliation and balancing of cash drawers and other funds.
- Train, observe, and develop front end staff.
- Comply with all store rules, company policies, and health regulations.
- Complete all applicable department training programs.
Requirements
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
- Ability to perform math skills and make change with all denominations of American currency.
- Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to work with a variety of products without negative allergic consequences.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and tolerate moderate amounts of dust and chemical agents.
