About the position

The Pricer position at Arc Thrift Stores involves pricing children's clothing items to maximize their value and maintaining merchandise on the sales floor. The role requires collaboration with the store manager and supervisor to achieve sales targets and ensure a sufficient supply of seasonal merchandise. The individual will also assist with customer service and perform various duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Price assigned departmental merchandise to receive maximum value.
• Maintain merchandise on the sales floor.
• Sort out-of-season merchandise to ensure an adequate supply of seasonal items.
• Review department sales targets weekly with the store manager and supervisor.
• Adjust merchandise prices to achieve maximum value based on sales performance.
• Display merchandise in designated areas on the sales floor.
• Supply a sufficient quantity of merchandise daily to assigned departments.
• Keep the sales floor shoppable by balancing and rotating seasonal merchandise.
• Assist with customer service and perform other duties as directed.

Requirements

• Knowledge of styles and trends in children's clothing.
• Ability to identify merchandise quality and price it competitively.
