About the position

The Pricing Analyst I at Cencora plays a crucial role in managing daily pricing for the Wholesale and Specialty segment. This position involves leveraging data and analytics to ensure alignment with contracted commitments, assess bids, and improve pricing processes. The analyst will also contribute to the development of pricing strategies for future contracts, making it essential for optimizing revenue and margins.

Responsibilities

  • Performs monthly and quarterly detailed analysis of transaction level data; synthesizing findings into relevant trends and correlations and assisting in the construction and implementation of solutions that drive revenue and margin optimization
  • Actively participates in the development of customer pricing strategies and tactics for assigned channels / classes of trade
  • Collaborates with Business / Customer Operations and other teams to ensure timely and effective on-boarding, set-up and maintenance of required pricing rules and conditions in consistent alignment with commercial contracted commitments is achieved
  • Participates in quantification and impact analysis of existing or proposed pricing policies, procedures and governance frameworks
  • Fields and resolves sales inquiries related to pricing, rebates, and customer setup
  • Conducts financial analysis for deal structures
  • Understands Branded Rx pricing initiatives, solutions, and messaging. Responsible for educating the Sales Teams on the Branded Rx strategies
  • Documents processes and procedures related to primary duties and responsibilities
  • Assesses issues related to invoicing, Customer Setup, pricing or supply issues and determines appropriate solutions
  • Performs any related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, finance, pricing, marketing, economics, statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, strategy, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Prefer 1 years' experience in analytics and project/process management
  • Sound expertise in financial / mathematical / statistical modeling and analysis
  • Proven ability to work analytically; synthesizing vast data into relevant, actionable information
  • Ability to implement and manage projects / processes aimed at driving simplification, standardization, or adherence to policy
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to handle many diverse projects at once and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
