About the position
The Pricing Analyst position at Leidos involves developing proposal pricing and cost volumes in response to customer requests across various sectors including aerospace and manufacturing. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and completeness of pricing proposals, while also maintaining a focus on customer needs and professional communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop pricing/cost volumes in accordance with proposal instructions and company policies.
- Work cross-functionally with proposal team members including contracts, subcontracts, procurement, capture management, finance, and technical estimators.
- Ensure completion of compliant basis of estimates with proposal teams.
- Produce timely pricing and cost volume narratives to meet proposal gate review schedules.
- Load all pricing/cost volumes and supporting documents into the estimating repository.
- Provide peer reviews of pricing documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related discipline with 4+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master's with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with proposal development and various contract types/vehicles.
- Experience with Government customer proposal requirements and applying contracting and pricing principles.
- Strong customer focus with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Excellent quantitative analysis skills.
- Proficient with desktop applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong Microsoft Word skills for producing compliant cost volumes.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills for creating accurate pricing files.
