About the position

The Pricing Operations Manager will lead a team in a high-volume distribution environment, focusing on implementing pricing strategies and ensuring compliance with pricing policies. This role is critical for managing data related to pricing contracts and collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Implement competitive market pricing and cost structures with a team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, finance, procurement) to ensure pricing accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintain and update pricing models, evaluate profitability margins, and conduct pricing scenario analysis.
  • Lead the pricing operations team, providing training and support for high performance.
  • Oversee daily operational data and KPIs to monitor performance and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and enhanced productivity.
  • Evaluate and streamline systems and processes (ERP, WMS, CRM) to improve workflow.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align pricing models with customer needs.
  • Partner with supply chain and procurement teams for accurate forecasting and inventory management.
  • Support senior management in strategic initiatives for the distribution network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations management or pricing analysis in a high-volume distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical proficiency in data analysis, pricing strategies, and distribution processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Proven track record of process optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
