About the position

The Pricing and Product Analyst at Agri Beef Co. plays a crucial role in supporting the Sales Pricing Manager by ensuring timely and accurate reporting. This position involves collaboration with various departments including Sales, Livestock, Operations, Quality Assurance, Accounting, and Management. The analyst will manage co-pack products, analyze sales trends, and develop reports to maximize margin opportunities, contributing to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Co-Pack products
• Schedule Co-Pack raw material shipments
• Schedule Co-Pack production
• Manage Co-Packed inventory levels
• Collect, analyze, evaluate, and develop reports on revenues/margins by customer account, product, brand, channel, and employee
• Analyze sales trends and evaluate performance against sales goals
• Assist in developing accurate yield information with operations
• Report and develop solutions to maximize margin opportunities
• Assist with daily sales prices, all channels, and all brands
• Develop reports on competitive pricing
• Track retail ad activity
• Communicate sales reporting and forecasting to sales management
• Generate ad hoc reporting for sales and marketing
• Analyze SKU movement and ROI for rationalization purposes
• Assist in sales and marketing plan development
• Participate in weekly meetings with Operations, Quality Assurance, and Management when necessary
• Communicate with key accounts regarding pricing and ads
• Assist in analysis work with scheduling and logistics
• Assist with customer internal sales calls
• Assist with the development and communication of all price lists

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited University or College or like experience
• Sound knowledge of beef and boxed beef
• Computer skills in Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with people and develop solutions
• Ability to deal with multi-dimensional issues
