About the position

As a Senior Analyst for Pricing at Best Buy, you will be responsible for executing pricing strategies for assigned categories. This role involves providing in-depth pricing analysis and recommendations to influence business stakeholders, partnering with category teams, and supporting various special projects as the pricing organization evolves.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute clearance, open box and competitive pricing strategies to optimize profit, manage at-risk inventory and drive price perception
• Partner with category teams to support promotional strategies that impact business and enterprise goals
• Conduct detailed, category-specific analysis to ensure prices meet category level goals
• Track pricing performance against financial goals and key performance indicators; identify risks and opportunities which may impact overall performance
• Present insights to category teams and other partners in a clear and concise manner
• Contribute to team development through sharing of best practices and project work

Requirements

• 2 years of experience performing quantitative/financial analysis, pricing or promotion management, or business analysis within a retail, consulting or consumer-oriented industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
