About the position

The Pricing Strategy Analyst at tesa tape, inc. will oversee the pricing strategy across North America, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the pricing process. This role involves analyzing prices, guiding changes, and managing pricing tools while collaborating with teams across the US, Canada, and Mexico. The analyst will focus on maintaining competitive and profitable pricing, continuously improving pricing methods, and providing insights through data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all pricing processes across North America, ensuring compliance with established procedures from product creation to invoice payment.
  • Collaborate with Controlling, Sales, Customer Care, Marketing, and global teams to maintain accurate pricing and improve pricing strategies.
  • Ensure systems such as SAP, PriceFx, Target Price Calculator, Tapeplace, and CRM are functioning optimally and aligned with pricing initiatives.
  • Conduct training for internal teams on pricing tools like PriceFx and Target Price Calculator.
  • Monitor and analyze pricing data to ensure competitiveness and profitability, creating detailed reports to guide decision-making.
  • Lead regional efforts for annual price reviews, ensuring proper system updates and approval processes.
  • Develop and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards to provide valuable insights on sales activity, pricing trends, and performance metrics.
  • Manage large-scale projects such as Tapeplace 3.0, aligning system capabilities with organizational needs, and leading pricing training initiatives to enhance stakeholder understanding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing Operations, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of strong experience in pricing strategy, pricing tools management, and pricing analytics, ideally within a manufacturing or B2B environment.
  • Expertise in managing pricing processes and systems such as SAP, PriceFx, PowerBI, and CRM.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across multiple departments, regions, and with global counterparts.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs for internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex pricing data and create clear, actionable reports.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading large-scale process improvement initiatives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy across multiple systems and processes.
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive continuous improvement in pricing strategies and tools.
