About the position

The Primary Authority Fire Safety Officer role at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (HIWFRS) is a full-time specialist position focused on partnership working with national and international organizations. Responsibilities

• Generate new partnership accounts for the Primary Authority Team.
• Manage ongoing relationships with established partnership accounts.
• Work with senior management teams of partner organizations across the UK.
• Influence change within external organizations related to fire safety regulations.
• Plan and implement strategies for effective partnership working.

Requirements

• Recognized fire safety qualification is essential.
• Experience in partnership working and managing external relationships is desirable.
• High level of technical fire safety knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and awareness of supportive regulation ethos.
• Ability to work autonomously with senior managers.
