About the position

The Full Time Advanced Practice Provider will serve the Frederick County Public School Employees and their families at the Family Care Center in Winchester, Virginia. This role focuses on providing same-day sick visits, workers' compensation visits, and primary care services, ensuring accessible healthcare for the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide same-day care for sick patients.
• Conduct workers' compensation visits.
• Deliver primary care services to employees and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant).
• Experience in primary care or urgent care settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with school employees or in a school-based health setting.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
