Responsibilities

• Triage patients, assess urgency status and prioritize care
• Handle pre-authorizations and referrals
• Perform EKGs, breathing treatments, and injections
• Assist provider in procedures and patient care
• Administer and document medication as directed by the provider
• Prepare, clean, and maintain exam and treatment rooms
• Perform other related work as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience in EMR systems
• 2 years of experience in taking vital signs
• Certified Medical Assistant certification (required)
• BLS Certification (preferred)
