About the position

Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a skilled and organized Medical Assistant-Certified or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Sheridan Clinic team. This multifaceted position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic and delivering an exceptional experience for patients. The Medical Assistant will support physicians, nurses, and the administrative team, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of care provided by the practice.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, guiding them through their visits with professionalism and empathy.
• Assist with clinical tasks such as recording vital signs and preparing patients for examinations.
• Administer injections and vaccinations as required.
• Maintain organized records in the electronic medical record system.
• Support physicians and nurses in delivering quality patient care.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current Washington State certification in good standing; MA-C or LPN required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Two years of experience preferred, but experienced MA-C's or LPN's and new grads are welcome.
