About the position

American Health Network (AHN), an OptumCare partner, is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our growing team in Indiana. This position is part of a physician-led organization that operates over 70 medical offices across Indiana and Ohio, employing over 300 providers and 1200 staff members. Our mission is to improve the health of our patients, and we are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be part of a team that emphasizes value-based care and is supported by a robust network of specialists. We offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate the needs of our providers, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. At AHN, we believe in the importance of teamwork in delivering exceptional healthcare. Our culture promotes clinical innovation and transformation, allowing providers to practice at the peak of their license. We recognize that effective healthcare cannot be delivered in isolation; therefore, we foster a collaborative environment where providers work together to influence change on a national scale while maintaining the community feel of our local care organizations. Compensation for this role is based on quality rather than quantity, and we provide dedicated Continuing Medical Education (CME) time and allowance, an excellent paid time off (PTO) package, and a robust retirement plan that includes employer-funded contributions. Additionally, we cover malpractice insurance and tail coverage, and there are opportunities for physician partnership with OptumCare. American Health Network is dedicated to transforming healthcare delivery across the north central United States. Founded in 1994, we are a multi-specialty, physician-led, integrated healthcare delivery system that serves over 250,000 patients. Our commitment to the provider experience ensures that our staff is engaged, happy, and productive, which ultimately leads to better patient care.
