About the position

Optum WA is seeking a Primary Care Physician specializing in Family or Internal Medicine to join their team in Stanwood, WA. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients, with a focus on improving community health outcomes. Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to patients in a full-time capacity with 36 patient contact hours weekly.
• Manage an average of 18-22 patients per day, utilizing EPIC as the EMR system.
• Collaborate with Medical Assistants (MAs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to ensure efficient patient care and triage.
• Participate in on-site lab and imaging services, and coordinate with specialists as needed.
• Engage in continuous learning and development programs to enhance clinical skills.

Requirements

• Unrestricted WA state license or the ability to obtain one.
• Current DEA certificate required prior to start date.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification prior to start date.
• Proficiency in EMR systems, preferably EPIC.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AI options for efficient charting.
• Familiarity with anti-coagulation management in a clinical setting.
