This is a traditional outpatient primary care medicine practice supporting patients from Salt Lake City and its surrounding communities. The practice involves seeing an average of 18 patients per day, focusing on the adult population. You will be part of a collegial group of Primary Care physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians, ensuring a supportive work environment. The position offers a work-life balance with flexible shifts, typically a full-time 5-day work week, and there are no inpatient responsibilities. Call is light and shared, with Advanced Practice Clinician (PA/NP) support available. The location in Sandy is incredible, situated in the East bench at the base of the Wasatch Mountain Range, providing countless options for outdoor exploration year-round. Sandy is conveniently located within 20 miles of Salt Lake City and several world-class ski resorts. Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient primary care to adult patients.
  • Manage an average of 18 patients per day.
  • Collaborate with a collegial group of Primary Care physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians.
  • Maintain a work-life balance with flexible shifts, typically a 5-day work week.
  • Participate in shared light call responsibilities.
  • Support and mentor Advanced Practice Clinicians (PA/NP).
  • Contribute to practice ideas and initiatives to improve patient care.

Requirements

  • BC/BE in Family/Internal Medicine or ability to obtain prior to start date.
  • Unrestricted UT medical license or ability to obtain prior to start date.
  • Current DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to start date.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with HEDIS scores, Star Ratings, and risk adjustment.
  • Experience with Value Based Care.
