UPMC Community Medicine, Inc. is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician or Family Medicine Physician for the Primary Care Partners of Monroeville located in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. This role is integral to the health of patients, providing the opportunity to utilize world-class resources and support to ensure the right care is delivered at the right time. The position offers a competitive base salary with additional incentives through programs based on quality metrics and APP utilization. The practice is situated in a busy outpatient-only setting, requiring a full-time physician to enhance patient access. The facility is located in a medical building that houses multi-specialty time shares and a satellite of the Hillman Cancer Center. The practice operates with a flexible scheduling template and maintains a manageable call rotation of 1:7. UPMC provides a supportive environment for new graduates, pairing them with a practice-based lead physician for mentorship and guidance as they transition from residency to practice. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients in an outpatient setting.
  • Utilize resources such as social work, behavioral health, and nutritionist professionals for patient referrals.
  • Participate in quality metrics and APP utilization programs to maximize income.
  • Collaborate with a team of administrative leaders to ensure efficient practice operations.
  • Mentor and guide new graduates transitioning from residency to practice.

Requirements

  • Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency Program.
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, or board eligible for residency new graduates.
  • Unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License.
  • DEA certification.
