As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and designing the sequence of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities. This includes establishing methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. You will also be responsible for establishing or assisting in establishing accident prevention measures and managing training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Your role will involve conducting studies related to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. Based on these studies, you will develop and implement plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. Additionally, you may assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities, ensuring that all operations are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts.
  • Establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
  • Establishes or assists in establishing accident prevention measures.
  • Manages training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
  • Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
  • Develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
  • Assists facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelors degree required in Engineering
  • Strong financial knowledge in labor, MUV and burden
  • Strong communication skills (specifically with external functions and enterprise)
  • Experience on Site Master plan development and execution
  • Strong capacity planning experience.
