About the position

The Principal AI Architect, also known as The AI Visionary Architect, is responsible for leading the design, integration, and optimization of AI architecture that powers transformative solutions. This role involves collaborating with engineering, data science, and product teams to establish frameworks that support AI-driven products, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business objectives. The architect will set standards for AI architecture, promote responsible AI practices, and stay current with advancements in AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive AI architectural strategy that aligns with the company’s goals.
• Architect AI solutions from data ingestion to model deployment, integrating data pipelines and model serving infrastructure.
• Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to embed AI capabilities across applications.
• Oversee the design and management of data and computational infrastructure, leveraging cloud and high-performance computing resources.
• Create frameworks for model versioning, monitoring, and retraining to support continuous improvement of AI solutions.
• Implement AI governance frameworks to ensure fairness, transparency, and accountability in AI deployments.
• Keep up with the latest developments in AI architectures, cloud computing, and scalable systems.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in designing AI systems and architectures, including data pipelines and model serving.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and high-performance computing, including containerization and distributed computing.
• Proven ability to work with data science, engineering, and product teams to align AI architecture with business needs.
• Knowledge of model versioning, monitoring, and retraining practices.
• Familiarity with responsible AI practices, including model fairness and interpretability.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications in cloud computing, data engineering, or architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer).
