About the position

The Principal AI Engineer will lead the development of advanced AI-powered systems within a fully remote, well-funded startup environment. This role focuses on building complex AI solutions from inception to deployment, addressing challenging technical problems, and innovating through the growth phase of the company's evolving product. The position offers a unique opportunity to work on a Greenfield initiative that leverages proprietary AI technology to meet critical business needs across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of AI-powered systems by guiding the implementation of LLMs to process complex data.
• Bridge the gap between unstructured behaviors and find ways to increase accuracy across our AI models.
• Implement self-learning AI systems that continuously learn and improve from their own outputs and human feedback.
• Utilize intelligent error detection to flag potential errors, inconsistencies, or anomalies to trigger self-correction processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of total experience, preferably in a startup environment.
• Extremely fluent with Python and other AI tools such as NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
• Must have a compelling portfolio of complex, large-scale AI projects, preferably in the B2B space.
• Demonstrated ability working on AI systems that continuously learn from their own outputs and human feedback.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Systems Engineering, or a relevant field is highly preferred.
